Welcome to Marriage Diary. This Refund Policy explains the rules and conditions for cancellation and refunds for bookings made through our website and mobile application available at marriagediary.in.
By making a booking through Marriage Diary, you agree to this Refund Policy.

1. About Marriage Diary Refunds
Marriage Diary is an online platform that helps users connect with wedding halls, banquet halls, and venue owners for bookings. We do not directly own or manage any listed venue.
Refund approval depends on the venue owner/manager’s cancellation policy and booking terms.

2. Booking Cancellation Request
Users can request cancellation by contacting us through:

Booking ID / Reference Number
Registered mobile number
Booking date and venue name
Reason for cancellation

3. Refund Eligibility
A refund may be approved only if:
The venue owner confirms cancellation acceptance, OR
The venue cancels the booking due to unavailability or any operational issue, OR
The booking is not confirmed by the venue owner after payment (if applicable)
Marriage Diary will coordinate with the venue owner to confirm refund eligibility.

4. Non-Refundable Cases
Refund will generally not be provided in cases such as:
User changes mind after booking confirmation
Last-minute cancellation as per venue rules
Incorrect details provided by the user
User fails to reach the venue on booking date (No-Show)
Any personal reason not accepted by the venue owner
Force majeure situations (natural disaster, strike, government restrictions, etc.) unless venue agrees

5. Refund Amount
If refund is approved, the refund amount depends on the venue owner’s policy and may include:
Full refund
Partial refund
No refund
Service charges, convenience fees, or payment gateway charges (if applicable) may be deducted as per platform and gateway rules.

6. Refund Processing Time
If the refund is approved, it will be processed through the original payment method.
Refund timeline:
Usually within 1-2 working days
Depending on Razorpay and bank processing time
Marriage Diary is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment gateway systems.

7. Payment Gateway (Razorpay)
All payments are securely processed through Razorpay or other third-party gateways.
Marriage Diary does not store sensitive payment details such as:
Card number
CVV
UPI PIN
Net banking password

8. Venue Cancellation
If the venue owner cancels your booking due to any reason, you will be eligible for a refund based on the venue owner’s decision and confirmation.
Marriage Diary will assist you in communication and refund processing.

9. Dispute Resolution
If there is any dispute regarding booking or refund, Marriage Diary will try to resolve it by coordinating between the user and venue owner.
Final refund decision depends on venue owner confirmation and policy.

10. Changes to Refund Policy
Marriage Diary may update this Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with the latest updated date.
